Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2020 for the 2nd annual Thousand Island’s Half Marathon & 5K at Scenic View Park on the St. Lawrence River in Alexandria Bay. The half marathon course will start/finish in Alexandria Bay with the entire course on the mainland. Start time for the half marathon will be at 8:45 a.m. The 5K event will take place on Wellesley Island. All registered 5K participants will receive a ticket as part of their registration that will allow them free shuttle from Uncle Sam’s Boat Tours to and back from Wellesley Island. The shuttle will depart Alexandria Bay at 8:30 a.m. and arrive at Wellesley Island by 8:45 a.m. The 5K race event will start at 9 a.m. Upon shuttle return, 5K runners will join the Half Marathon finishers at the Scenic View Park Pavilion for the awards ceremony and celebration event. The park also offers a seasonal swimming beach and playground. Post race party and age group awards will be at the pavilion.
