Campground Rules

Fee's
A part of the reservation system a one-time fee of $10.00 is collected at time of reservation and is non-refundable. 

Cancellation Rules:
15+ days prior to reservation check-in minus $15 cancellation fee and $10 Reservation fee.
14-9 days prior to reservation check-in 50% is forfeited and $10 Reservation fee.
8 days or less no refunds will be provided. 

Cancelations based on situational emergencies:
Under all circumstances the guidelines above dictate what can be refunded regardless of the situation. We can appreciate situations of any type (medical, mechanical, work, e.c.t.) occur from time to time so the staffs at the campground are willing to modify the reservation within 365 days to accommodate the situation and still provide you with a getaway vacation. 

Late Policy:
Check-in time for all sites is 3 pm on the day of your reservation however exceptions are easily made if you call us ahead of time to see if you can check in early as the staff requires time to prep the site for your arrival. If you will be arriving after 6 pm please give us a call and we will hold your site as long as we know your still planning on coming.

Site Assignment/locked site:
While few private campsites offer the ability for a customer to select their campsite we are pleased to support the customer decision of site choice.  From time to time site reassignments occur without notice before a customer arrives. In the event the automated system moves a customer their new system will be equal or upgraded in type. If a customer decided to lock their site when making the reservation their site cannot be reassigned and the customer will arrive to the site they chose at the time of reservation. The 1000 Islands Campground reserves the right to reassign sites unlocked sites but in cases where a maintenance issue exists customers who have chosen a lock site will be moved. 

Emergencies:
If for unforeseen circumstances the campground closes due to an emergency or disaster, the campground will make every effort to notify you. In these cases, all fees will be refunded as soon as possible.

Inclement Weather:
In cases of inclement weather, the campground remains open, but you choose to leave after check-in, no refunds will be issued.

Fires:
Recreational Fires must be contained in a fire pit, ring, or fireplace that is no more than 3 feet round and 2 feet high. Fire rings may not be moved without permission of Campground otherwise a $50 fee will be added to the reservation to repair the site. Fires cannot be directly next to a camper or under an awning or shelter. 1000 Island Campground staff will be periodically patrolling the camping areas and have the authority to make campers extinguish a fire if is too big or unsafe. 

Assigned Site Guidelines:
All  motorized vehicles should be parked either pulled-in or backed-in, centered on the designated camping site number. All vehicles and equipment must fit within the assigned RV site and not impose upon neighboring sites or fire lanes. Golf carts are allowed within the park speed limits and must be operated by a adult. You must not encroach on the assigned site of another guest with your RV, slide-outs, pop-ups, awnings, grills or furniture. You may not extend beyond the site allotted in any direction. Any vehicle causing a disturbance to neighboring sites may be relocated or removed from the property by the campground staff without reimbursement. Your site must be quiet enough not to disturb your closest neighbor from 10:00 PM to 8:00am. Persons to whom permits are issued, bearers and their guests are expected to be familiar with and abide by these RV Terms and Conditions. 

Pets:
We happily accept pets at all sites at the campground as we have pets of our own. We require each owner to carry the pet’s vaccination card with up to date shot records. All pets must be leashed at all times. Owners are required to pick up after their pets and dispose of the waste properly. Violations of this policy will incur a $25 fee per instance as a curtesy of someone else having to clean it up for you. Excessive barking will not be tolerated as it burdens the other guests. Pets are not allowed in the restroom/shower facilities. Guests renting cabins or glamping tents are required to bring a pet cage and utilize it if the guests leave the park. Any damages to campground property will be assessed at time of checkout and charged to the pet owner’s credit card.   

Smoking/Vaping Policy:
Smoking of any type is permitted at the individuals campsite however not permitted in or at the entrance of any cabin, glamping, facility, or any posted sign where smoking is prohibited on campground property. Violation of this policy may result in up to a $250 charge for cleaning fees.  Any guest that violates this policy may have their site revoked.  

In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under MY SUPERVISION, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at the 1000 Islands Campground, I and all persons listed below, agree to the following Waiver and Release:

I hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE, IDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, 1000 Islands Campground & Gilden Associates, all officers and employees of all liability for injuries caused by, but NOT LIMITED

TO, the following activities: CAMPFIRES, HIKING, PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, WAGON RIDES, CAMPSITE USE, PROPERTY USE, PLANNED EVENTS, DOGS, SHOWERS, BICYCLE OR MOTORCYCLE USE, GOLF CARTS, AND ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE. I acknowledge that camping has many hazards and that there are risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment.

I hereby acknowledge that the 1000 Islands Campground is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay. By agreeing to reserve a site or be party to a reserved site confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies at the 1000 Islands Campground. I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property, without refund, for failure to follow said rules and policies. A copy of which, is posted at the 1000 Islands Campground office.

By creating this reservation and checking in I hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me, all parties, and equipment listed below during our stay at the 1000 Islands campground for purposes of event documentation and promotion of the 1000 Islands campground. Names will not be published.

I confirm that I have a valid rabies certificates for any pets in my party. A copy will be provided to the owners or staff at the 1000 Islands Campground on request.
